Caddie’s Call
The least expensive route to 4K here, with 4,000 lumens for a bright room and 4.2ms lag at 1080p 240Hz. Two costs are deferred rather than avoided: it is lamp-based, so bulbs recur as an expense, and standard throw needs 12ft or more of room depth.
For you if
- 4K UHD at the lowest price point in the active lineup
- 4000 lumens handles bright or ambient-light rooms
- Ultra-low 4.2ms input lag at 1080p 240Hz
- Widely available through mainstream retailers
Not for you if
- Lamp-based, replacement bulbs needed over time
- Standard throw requires 12ft+ room depth
- No laser longevity
